Just about every result in google search results yielded the same feedback, a copy and paste from Microsoft going through the troubleshooting steps I just mentioned regarding fixing a corrupted profile We solved it by adjusting our GPO with the additional setting of "authenticated Users" in the default user profile.

  1. I trust folks to build it to work, and I use it and try to take care of it.
  2. When you try to install IE9/10/11 via IEAK, it will try to create the %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\SQM\iesqmdata_setup#.sqm file and upload to SQM server(http://sqm.microsoft.com/sqm/ie/sqmserver.dll).
  3. Ensure you check the box "Replace all child object permission with inheritable permissions from this object"." Fixed this problem for me.

I will not look for that file and delete it and see if I can use the original default user profile again.
