I then needed to set CLASSPATH to use some librarys and it has all gone a bit pair shaped. I am using windows 2000 with j2sdk1.4.2_04.

I've tried exporting JAVA_HOME=/opt/java1.5 and /opt/java1.5/bin, but neither seem to resolve the problem.I found an hp doc that suggested checking the Java Programmers guide, but that didn't really help.Any help would Setting JAVA_HOME, JAVAHOME ( to both SDK and to jre directory under it).
