I didn't even know that it was possible to have grub boot an iso Putting the contents of the iso on the usb would not be an option? I also tried Mfgtools original files(updater.sb, updater_ivt.sb, imx28_linux.sb, imx28_ivt_linux.sb, imx28_uboot.sb, imx28_ivt_uboot.sb, rootfs.tar.bz2), it works too.
