After googling this error I found out that valgrind doesn't work with 64-bit executables, however my application and all the frameworks it uses is being compiled with the -m32 flag and I encountered this error "cannot execute binary file" when installing FF.Communicator - a firefox plugin for chrome (so I can run pages that use java applets).
